- The Northern Youth Fest
International Youth Day was commemorated by the Department of Youth Services in partnership with UNICEF Belize in Orange Walk. The day was celebrated with the Northern Youth Festival, bustling with young people from all across the northern region of Belize.
The festivities started with a parade that went from the heart of town to the People's Stadium. The Day was jam-packed with events such as a talent show, sports, special Olympics, and a variety of booths by young entrepreneurs and organizations from many sectors. The day ended with a celebration of musical presentations from Bussa B band and TLC Band. West side be on the lookout for us soon!
